International Tournament Under 19 Bellinzona

02-
06.04
2026

The Bellinzona International U19 tournament is not just a football show. In fact, it would be reductive to limit an event of this magnitude and importance to the interests of professionals and hard and pure football lovers. An event of this caliber must prevail in Ticino as a show on the show. It is certainly an important aspect to be able to admire talents from schools and other realities that are different from ours. Being able to compete with them on the green rectangle is certainly a source of pride and a moment of growth for both athletes and our children.

At the same time, we believe that promoting our wonderful territory, sharing and promoting sports values, fair play, awareness of the practice of sports getting to know new cultures from around the world are just some of the aspects that encourage the organization of this important event.

In this sense, the organizers intend to increase the popularity and visibility of the tournament through various side events.

Winner

Born in 1941, in the middle of the war, it was not immediately possible for the organizers to involve international clubs and, until '46, the participants were six and all of Swiss nationality: Bellinzona, Young Boys, Lucerne, Young Fellows, Maria Hilf and Lugano. The home team imposed themselves. The first "international" edition, in 1946, was won by the FC Internazionale di Milano.
